Christ is our righteousness; this puts man in a place where he is validated by the Father through Jesus Christ. In saying this, we understand that every time we come before the Father, we no longer are as we naturally are; (sinful and soulish) but we come as though we are Christ. Also, man is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, so God gets His validation as men see us believers and watch our lives as it unfolds God (2Cor 5:21, NKJV).

In being the righteousness of God, we are to fully represent God on earth. That is to say , in representing God, we do as He does, think as He thinks and above all, do His perfect will (John 5:19, NKJV). But man in his fallen state in hope of complete salvation is so disconnected from God that he has to begin to learn His ways (Isa 55:8-9, NKJV) by the Spirit of God that knoweth the deepest things of God (1Cor 2:10, KJV).

In the knowledge of this, we understand that everything that proceedeth from us is as a burnt offering to God, even so worship (Romans 12:2). We must realize that worship is not the songs we sing as much as it is a constant and consistent posture of our lives towards God.

(2Cor 5:17, NKJV)A believer does not become a new creation the day he becomes born again, he only gets renewed by the Spirit of God. A believer becomes a new creation only when he begins to live his life according to the Will of God.

An average believer’s struggle in salvation is not the issue of heaven or hell but entering into the perfect will of the Father, becoming the full image of the Christ. The quickest and most accurate way of entering into the fullness of the Christ is not by effort or personal works but only by the leading of the Holy Spirit through Grace (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Extracts from Sunday Service (27th April 2014)

Pastor Chingtok Ishaku

The pattern of satan is to give you a form of shelter.
When it comes to walking with God, it has to do with trust, and the basis for trust are in knowing the following:
• There are somethings you know that I don’t know now (the depth of God that we are yet to uncover)
• God has your best interest at heart.
• God is able to do what he said he will do.GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

Believers unfortunately do not doubt Gods’ ability but His willingness to act.
The Lord is faithful, he is able and he is willing.
Casting your care is not throwing it away, but an assurance and a complete knowing that he cares.

Quarry site, Tuesday 11th of February

The service began with the promise of a revelation of the word of God as hearts where aligned to be filled once again with truth for the maturity of the saints.

The reading of the book of Romans continued, taking a look at chapter 4:11-25 to create basis about righteousness that was imputed and not earned. Pastor Chingtok Ishaku said that God declared us righteous by the righteousness of Christ Jesus. In order words, Christ died for our sins and was raised for our justification. As such, we should come to the understanding that as Christ died, we died with Him and we rose as He did.

The text was captured from Romans 5 and 6. Pastor Chingtok discussed on the importance of being fully persuaded about the things God has said. Full persuasion comes with the death of the flesh (our flesh being our efforts, our reasoning, and all other activities that exhibit self) to believing totally in Gods ability to do that which He has said concerning us. Abraham, who is said to be the father of faith, took 25 years to be fully persuaded about the promise of God concerning him. Most times, our abilities constrain us from receiving the word of God, because when God is the one working, you will have nothing to boast about at the end of the day. God does not give us grace that is just enough but He gives us grace that is super abundant and sufficient grace works through righteousness to give eternal life through Jesus Christ.

In summary, we were once slaves to sin and righteousness had no right over us, but now that we are slave to righteousness, sin has no right over us. Our present state of righteousness makes it difficult for us to yield ourselves to sin. If we find ourselves sinning, it is because we permitted it. Our new nature is righteousness and it was IMPUTED.
